If you are considering withdrawing your name from the NHS Organ Donor Register, it is important to note that is not the same as recording a decision not to donate. You can only withdraw your details if you have previously recorded a decision. If you withdraw, we will not have a donation decision recorded for you.
No one is automatically added to a list. Unless you record your decision on the NHS Organ Donor Register, we will not hold any details about you or your preferences.
If you do not want to donate your organs and tissue, then you will need to record a decision not to donate.
If you withdraw and later change your mind, you may record your new organ donation decision at any time.
