Save 9 Lives

Thanks for your interest in saving and transforming lives through blood and organ donation.

Organ donation gives an incredible gift of life to those in need of a transplant.  You can donate any or all of your organs, as well as tissue such as corneas which can give others the gift of sight.  Organ donation can occur after death, however only 1% of people are able to go on to be a donor which is why there is a shortage.  You can also be a living donor by donating a kidney or part of your liver.  Amazing!

Northern Ireland needs 1,200 blood donors every week.  That’s roughly 1 every 8 minutes.

Thousands of people across Northern Ireland rely on donated blood to help them survive surgeries, traumatic injuries, childbirth, and to face illnesses such as liver disease, cancer and more.  Giving blood is quick, easy and you can save up to 9 lives every year.

Become a lifesaving blood donor now.
